VW ID.3 Lease Deals

The Volkswagen ID.3 is a compact all-electric hatchback, roughly the size of a Golf. It is a popular first step into electric driving for business users. Why choose the ID.3?

• Cheaper to run. Electricity is generally cheaper per mile than petrol or diesel, especially if you charge at home or work.
• Quiet and smooth. Electric driving is relaxed, and the ID.3 is easy to drive in town.
• Practical size. It has the space of a family hatchback in a compact body.
• Lower company car tax. Electric cars usually attract much less benefit in kind (BiK) tax than petrol or diesel ones. Rates are set by HMRC and change over time, so please check the current figures on the HMRC website or ask your accountant. We cannot give tax advice.

The new ID.3 Neo

The ID.3 Neo is the newer version for 2026 onwards, and it has the lowest starting price in the ID.3 range. We also list an SE special edition with more equipment, and the earlier ID.3 (2023-26) at a higher price. Compare them to see which gives you the best balance of price and specification.

Range and charging

Official range figures depend on the battery size, which varies between versions. Real-world range will usually be lower, particularly in winter and at motorway speeds. If you can charge at home or at your workplace, most days will start with a full battery. Public chargers are available for longer trips. Check the manufacturer's range figure for the exact version before you decide.

Business benefits of leasing an ID.3

• Fixed monthly cost. There is no battery or resale risk, because the funder takes the car back.
• VAT. A VAT-registered business can usually reclaim 50% of the VAT on car rentals where there is any private use. Check with your accountant.
• Warranty for much of the term on a new car.
• Cash flow. You keep your capital in the business.
