Electric Car Leasing Deals
Leasing an electric car lets you switch to an EV for a fixed monthly payment, without buying the car or worrying about battery technology moving on. It is one of the most tax-efficient ways for a business to put drivers in a new car.
Lower Benefit in Kind tax
Employees and directors who drive a company car for private journeys pay Benefit in Kind (BiK) tax. For fully electric cars the rate is 3% in the 2025/26 tax year and 4% in 2026/27, rising gradually in later years. Petrol and diesel cars can be taxed at up to 37%.
On the same car value, that is a far smaller tax bill for the driver, and lower Class 1A National Insurance for the employer. Rates change each year, so check the latest figures on GOV.UK or with your accountant.
Lower running costs
Charging an electric car at home usually costs much less per mile than buying petrol or diesel, and there is no fuel to buy at the pump if you charge at home or at work. Electric cars also have fewer moving parts to service.
Why lease rather than buy an EV?
Electric car technology is moving quickly. Leasing means you pay a fixed monthly amount for the years you use the car and hand it back at the end, so you are not left holding a car whose value has fallen. Road tax is included in our deals.

Frequently asked questions
+What is BiK tax on an electric car?
Benefit in Kind tax is paid by employees and directors who use a company car privately. It is based on the car's list price and a percentage set by the government. For fully electric cars the percentage is 3% in 2025/26 and 4% in 2026/27, compared with up to 37% for petrol and diesel. The rate rises in future years.
+Is electric car leasing good for businesses?
Often, yes. Lower BiK rates mean lower tax for drivers and lower National Insurance for the business, and fixed monthly payments help cash flow. Whether it suits you depends on your mileage, charging options and how the car is used, so speak to your accountant.
+How far can electric lease cars travel?
It depends on the model, battery size, speed and weather. Every new car has an official WLTP range figure, but real-world range is usually lower, especially on motorways and in cold weather. Check the range of the specific car against your typical journeys.
