Van Leasing Deals UK
Van leasing gives your business a new van for a fixed monthly payment, with no large purchase to fund and no van to sell at the end. You choose the van, the term and your annual mileage, then hand it back when the agreement finishes.
Why lease a van for your business?
- Fixed monthly costs that make budgeting and cash flow easier.
- No large upfront purchase, so your money stays available for the business.
- No disposal hassle: you return the van at the end of the term rather than selling it.
- No depreciation risk, because the finance company owns the van.
- Road tax is included in our deals.
VAT on leased vans
A VAT-registered business can usually reclaim 100% of the VAT on van lease rentals when the van is used exclusively for business. If a van has any private use, the position is different, so check with your accountant before you rely on it.
Our current VW van range
Our range currently includes the Volkswagen Caddy Cargo, Transporter, Crafter and ID. Buzz Cargo, covering everything from small city deliveries to heavy-duty loads and fully electric options.
See current monthly prices, including VAT, on our deals page. Prices are shown there rather than here so they are always up to date.
How van leasing works
You pay an initial rental, then the same monthly rental for the whole term. Your annual mileage is agreed at the start, and an excess mileage charge applies if you go over it. Free delivery brings the van to your premises.
All applications are subject to status and credit approval.
Frequently asked questions
+Can I reclaim VAT on a leased van?
VAT-registered businesses can usually reclaim 100% of the VAT on the monthly rentals when the van is used exclusively for business. Any private use can change this, so speak to your accountant.
+Do I need business insurance?
You must insure the van for the whole lease, and the finance company will normally require fully comprehensive cover. If you use the van for work, your policy must cover business use. Insurance is not included in the monthly rental.
+What mileage limits apply?
You choose an annual mileage when you set up the lease, and your monthly price reflects it. If you exceed the total agreed mileage, an excess mileage charge per mile applies when you return the van, so it pays to estimate carefully.
+Can a sole trader lease a van?
Yes. Sole traders, limited companies, partnerships and LLPs can all apply, subject to status and credit approval.
